Today's review is The Skin Food All Over Muffin Cake Finish Shade 01 Strawberry Honey. If you recall I purchased a bunch of Skin Food products awhile back because of my initial interest with this leading Asian brand after testing out a few samples that were given to me. Isn't the name cute! The packaging is equally adorable but before I talk about that let me tell you what this stuff does. All Over Muffin Cake Finish is a unique finish powder highlighter blended with three different marbled colors in natural, subtle shimmer gold and pale pink to create a dazzling hint of glow on your skin. The pale colors add hints of shimmering depth while the pink color provides a radiant finish. By the way, it also has a delectable fruity scent to it! It's not glittery at all but has just a tad bit of slight shimmer which isn't noticeable unless you hit the lights, very sophisticated. The formula contains natural fruit essences, crushed pearl powder and comes complete with it's own handy little brush in a two tiered compact which slightly mimics an Asian rice steamer, too cute! I found the powder slightly on the dry side having to make me swipe my brush a few times over the product but it does show up. The pigments are slightly sheer but that's because this isn't really a blush just a highlighter. It's fun to use and adds a nice lasting glow to your skin. The only real drawback is that the Skin Food brand isn't that accessible you have to search for it online because they sell only in Asia plus they could have made the powder a little more richly pigmented. For a 16 gram product made with natural essences, fun packaging and delicious scent it's not that bad of a deal.Stay beautiful! XOXO
