Another large bird kill reported, this time in Louisiana

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A Paducah television news station is reporting that a Gilbertsville, Ky. woman has found dozens of dead birds in her front yard -- and Fox 41 News has learned that more birds have been found near Murray State University.

Another bird kill is being reported in a small town near Baton Rouge, Louisiana.



LABARRE- Hundreds of dead and dying birds littered a quarter-mile stretch of highway in Pointe Coupee Parish on Monday as motorists drove over and around them.

State biologists are trying to determine what led to the deaths of the estimated 500 red-winged blackbirds and starlings in La.
