For this Friday's video Lady Gaga's "Judas" how apropos for this new tune to be released right on time for Good Friday which I'm sure was thoroughly planned. I hope the Vatican isn't in a tizzy over this... This is audio only as the song was just released if and when a video comes out I'll post it for you guys. I'm not even going to try to analyze what she want's to say here or is she once again imitating Madonna by using sex & religion to flavor her art? All I know is that I'm not really offended by this as everyone has the right to personal expression plus Judas is supposedly not the traitor the church painted him out to be since the discovery of the Lost Gospel of Judas. Here's just a snippet of info for those of you interested click over here. Also you can find copies of the manuscript online if you search for it, I saw the special on the history channel last year. If the church could lie about Mary Magdalene for centuries then they can lie about everything else. Feel free to post your thoughts on the song but no religious remarks for they will be removed. Please be respectful of others religious beliefs because this song was only added as it's getting radio play starting today and now part of pop culture. I'm also a Catholic (in my own way) and don't want to read any negative remarks on what ignorant and or fanatical fools think of God. Hey, it's just music after all so we can discuss it rather than police every little thing in society, right? I'm hoping everyone who celebrates Passover or Easter this weekend is enjoying their holidays with loved ones. Let's all be reminded what Good Friday truly signifies today regardless of what your viewpoints toward organized religion, today is a day when we realize how we are all truly guilty of inequities, pettiness and wrongdoings in our life with the hope of forgiving and being forgiven for all our faults.
