Buckingham Palace

A rare opportunity to visit Buckingham Palace, home of the Queen. You will visit the State Apartments and the impressive Throne Room. The State Apartments form the heart of this working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures of the Royal collection.

The Royal Mews

The Royal Mews is the mews (or stables) of the British Royal Family, located in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. Here you can see the the Gold State Coach along with various horse-drawn carriages and motor cars, used for coronations, State Visits, royal weddings, the State Opening of Parliament and official engagements. For most of the year the stables are home to the working horses that play an important role in The Queen's official and ceremonial duties.

The Queen's Gallery

The Queen's Gallery is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions of items from the Royal Collection, the wide-ranging collection of art and treasures held in trust by The Queen for the Nation.

Itinerary:

  • 1:15 pm - Royal Mews
  • 2:30 pm - Queens Gallery
  • 3:45 pm - Buckingham Palace
  • 5:30 pm - return to your hotel
You may decide to linger and end your tour at the Palace, making your own way back to your hotel, or you may board the coach to return to Victoria Station and High Street Kensington.
