Today we got to the church in the morning and prepared for our second day of Vacation Bible School. I (Graham) went to a slum area to advertise the VBS while Laurier and John were preparing for the afternoon. The afternoon went well. The kids loved the VBS. We eliminated almost all the challenges we faced yesterday. It seems like we're really starting to make a difference here. Pastor Alexandre (spelling) showed up last night and has been helping out with everything ever since. Another thing we did today was helped to teach english to people in the neighborhood. During this time Laurier helped to bring someone to God. Some other highlights of the day where meeting foreign missionaries and (duh duh duh duh) Mia's birthday. The chefs prepared several cakes all of which where heavenly one of which had a picture of a Canadian flag on one half and a brazillian flag on the other. It's been a real pleasure to see God's hand at work. Sorry for the briefness but the hard work is taking it's toll and we need sleep.
Best of luck in Canada from,
John, Laurier, and Graham
