Michael Monahan, 35, of Fall River, Massachusetts thought it would be a good idea to lock his 3-year-old and 6-year-old sons in his trunk while he shopped at a sailing store on Tuesday. Not even the backseat, but the trunk of his Pontiac Trans Am.
After he was of course arrested and charged with assault and reckless endangerment of a child, Monahan's plea of innocence included "the boys like to play in the trunk."
