Praise be to God

PTL! I Finally got on our blog.  I thought I forgot the email address, but I was so tired that I just couldn`t answer the security questions.  The team is doing great!  The Brazilians are amaizing and we are all enjoying the food.  We went to an Arab resturant on Saturday and last night we experienced a feast complements of Miriam, Tamara, and Rapheal.  OBRIGADA!  Thanks so much for your prayer´s,  God is faithful.  Michael was able to purchase an American Visa at the Edmonton Airport.  The \USA now has our Rector~s fingerprints and picture on file.  We are all so glad they cleared him because Michael has been an amazing example of a servant leader, cleaning up after people and even unplugging a toilet with a broken plunger.  He refused to give up, after coming out for a breath of fresh air, he went back and was successful.

On Saturday we slept at Tim and Talisa´s  Generally the  guys slept like logs.   The girls had a few challenges.  It was very hot so Joan and Rosalie went to sleep outside, but it rained so they had to come back in.  Last night Pastor Tim preached an amazing sermon on John 13, Starting with servant leadership and ending with an affirmation of our identity in Christ. - John really knew that he was the disciple that Jesus loved.  May we  all have such confidence that we are HIS Beloved!

Laurier´s prayers were answered yesterday.  He really hoped that we could see rain while we were here.  And we did!  Joan said it was a blessing as we weren~t able to do anything other than clean the church and get organised.  The boys put up the basketball net and then took apart and put it up the other way and then found the directions.  The girl´s cleaned and cleaned.

Last night we came to our host families.  Rianna, Karin and I are staying with an amazing young woman named Jerus who speaks a little English.  She is gone to work so her communicating with her mother and brothers is a bit of a challenge.  Please pray that we would be able to communicate God´´s love to them.  Both Rianna and |Karin are doing really well.  Karin is our translator and Rianna does a great job pitching in and playing with the kids.
VBS starts this afternoon.  Please pray that we will be able to connect well with the kids.
Also please pray for Susan as she had trouble sleeping last night
Everything is very different - please pray that we would be good guests and preach the Gospel at all times..  (Sometimes words are difficult)
Pray for Linda Grace Tim~´s one year old daughter who had a fevor yesterday
Also,  please pray for my neck.  There seems to be a spiritual asspect to it - a burden that is not mine to carry
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all thing things will be added.
Love in Jesus
Amy
Rianna and Karin would say Hi but they are sleeping.
