Hello we are indeed home. Thanks so much for your prayers. God was able to use us in some amazing ways. I (Amy) am sipping some Neo Citran and want to share a couple of my highlights. I was amazed at the success of the youth conference. I think we learned some things from the VBS and our teams combined experience of about 55 years of youth ministry. Many of the things that work for us here in Edmonton, also were successful in Brazil. Brennan down-loaded some funny videos to get them interested right away. Patrick set up the room so that every one was welcomed in. Graham led a great game of train wreck using English and Portuguese. Rachel gave her testimony which touched a lot of people. Mark gave a talk about seeing Jesus. Mia got us out of a ditch in planning by helping us to look at things from end to beginning. Laurier led a skit and told the kids how much God loves them. Oh and I wowed everyone with my amazing Portuguese and told them If they Believed and Received Jesus, they had the right to become Children of God.

Rianna, Karin and I stayed with a wonderful young woman name Jerus and her family. And we had the great privilege of leading a Bible Study in their home. Rianna gave a testimony that was very meaningful and potentially lifechanging to Jerus' older brother.

Prayer requests:
Please pray that God will guide Marcos (Jesus' brother) to the right job.
Pray for Samuel who has a desire to be a Mechanical Engineer the He would follow the Path God has for him.
Pray for Jerus, that she would find a job that is good for her and that she would be empowered to lead people to Jesus.
Pray for the team members that nothing from this trip would be stolen by the enemy.
Also, please pray for a quick recovery as many of us have cold.
Blessings
Amy
