My Miss Suki Hold Me Bag Photos- Part Two

Read My Full Review Here: With product Specifications And More Photos

Here is Part Two of My Hold Me Bag review with photos showing how I organized some of my beauty products. It's so roomy I even managed to add my Clarisonic Mia Cleansing System, now that's roomy! I need to apologize for the bright camera flash, I'm looking into getting a new camera because this one is toast and I can't seem to get the settings right. It was an expensive Sony and I don't know what's up with it! Maybe I should buy a thriftier one next time. Please bear with me on this, thank you.

As you can see in the photo you can add super thick brushes in the slots. I could even pack my Smashbox #19 brush in this bag and that brush handle is very thick. I equally added my other Smashbox and thick Bare Essentuals brushes with total ease having more room to spare.

In the center zippered case I added tons of makeup with more packed underneath which you can't see because it's covered up. Not forgetting to add my Too Faced pink travel toothbrush. The Suki print removable liner underneath all that product ensures it's kept clean in case of spills.

The extra side pocket is also very spacious as I could add full size tubes of my Hard Candy Lotions and my large Mia Cleansing System with more room to spare! This is half of what I can store in here and when it was time to close it up I had no problem zipping the case or keeping it closed with the tie.

A fun fact: This bag was modeled after vintage school girl's book bags. How cute! I knew it looked familiar somehow as I'm a classic move fan and if you watch an old black and white movie next time with little children you will see them carrying those charming book bags with the ties.

A Venus Tip: When not traveling with the Hold me Bag and you want to make sure it stays clean without picking up lint or dust store it in a clean lined drawer, a large travel bag or as I did in a vinyl pillow/bedding case with snaps or zippers. This will ensure it's clean and lasts a lifetime.
Stay beautiful! XOXO

My Miss Suki Hold Me Bag Review: Part One

A lovely message from Hold Me Bag Publicity
Taa daaa! The Bag!
It's nice and thick
Limited Edition "Miss Suki" print lines the inside
opened up
inside the zipper compartment-with a side pouch also lined in Suki print

Miss Suki lining is removable-to line the bottom of the zippered case

This will be my Hold Me Bag Part One which will be the actual review of the product and the upcoming post will be Part Two where I will upload my photos and show how I organized cosmetics inside the bag. This was sent to me from publicity along with a lovely thoughtful note thanking me for hosting a successful HMB Giveaway. It was my pleasure and I'm definitely grateful for the brand contacting me to sponsor the contest for my members, giving one lucky winner the prize and for allowing me the opportunity to review one for myself. I will be looking into purchasing another one in the future either for myself (I have too much makeup) or as a gift just as soon as I scrap some more coin together...

The version I was sent was the limited edition "Miss Suki" print. Yes, they have limited editions and if you were in love with the Vanity Dames pattern your out of luck because it SOLD OUT. So if you see a bag with a pattern you like get it fast before they sell out.  I don't know how they read my mind but I love oriental prints.  I should say more obsessed than love and this particular print reminds me of the cutest pink Oriental girl umbrella my mother got for me in China Town when I was younger. It was this adorable pink children's umbrella with ruffles and just about the same print except all in various shades of pinks and the best part was the handle that had a huge round wooden pink knob with tassels and a wooden china doll figurine attached to it. I don't know what happened to it but when I saw this bag it made me think of one of the few happy childhood moments. Why am I telling you all this? Who knows... Just nod your head and read along with my ramblings  :)

The Hold Me Bag Product Info:
The Miss Suki Bag features interior highlights made from an all-cotton print that has been over-laid with a sleek washable surface. The exterior and parts of the interior are made from Knew Suede, a high-performance, created fabric that is sleek and soft to the touch. This beautiful fabric was chosen for its great personality with traits that include superior shape retention and cleaning. It is easy care, as even the most stubborn make-up traces are easily wiped away. Measuring a compact 10"H x 7"W x 2"D closed, it extends to 22"W fully opened. Original Patented design. Made in the USA. $95.00

Pro: super spacious!, easy to store & travel friendly, separate section for all your brushes, zippered compartment and removable lining keeps spills secure, easy to clean, soft material, fun unique prints, an extra side compartment to hold larger bottles, closes and ties with ease, stays shut, items stay in place

Con: pricey, might pick up lint over time (store in a clean area, drawer or bag)

My results: I'm completely in love with my Miss Suki Hold Me Bag. It's extremely spacious and feels very soft to the touch. I love how there are sections specifically for your brushes so they don't crack, bend or break like in regular travel cases. I tend to buy expensive brushes and love that I can travel with peace of mind knowing they are secure. I also love that it's lined with a plastic print so the suede like material can remain clean even thought you can wash it easily. Not only is it lined but there is a full case size liner with the adorable print that you can remove and use it to cover whatever part of the bag you wish. The side pocket can hold hairspray containers, large cleanser bottles and I even packed my Mia Cleansing Brush into it.

Some points I really love:
Bag is lined to protect from spills
A full case size printed removable liner insert is included so you can cover areas you wish.
Brushes stay in place and don't break.
Large bottles and containers can be stored
Extra side compartment
Zippered case
Case stays shut with the self tie
When not traveling with the Hold Me bag, can serve as a portable vanity

I would definitely recommend this to others especially for the woman who loves to travel and needs great tools to keep her organized. Other than the high price point I really can't think of any con's except that maybe over time it might pick up lint. A suggestion for those of you who have this is to keep it in a clean drawer with a lined handkerchief or store it in a plastic bag to stay clean. I stored mine in a plastic case used when you buy bedding/pillow sets. It works great because the plastic is thick and they usually have zippers or snap buttons on those bedding cases. This product get's a 4.5 starfish rating from me for all the qualities mentioned above. It would have gotten a higher rating if the price was not so high bit if you save for it, you won't regret it because it's worth having. You can always shop the sale events that the website has for a considerable saving. Anyone have this? Would you like to share your thoughts? Stay beautiful! XOXO

How The Hold Me Bag Winner Organized Her Cosmetics

Super Girl from Supreme Living Blog who was the winner for the recent The Hold Me Bag Sponsored Giveaway has received her prize and sent me her photos showing how she organized her Hold Me Bag. As you can see the hold me bag can pack quite a punch and Supergirl did a fabulous job getting all her makeup essentials neat and organized.

The "Les Fleurs" bag was the selection awarded-see link here

Now her brushes have their own place ready for her choosing at a moment's glance without having to dig deep into traditional cosmetics cases. Plus she not only was able to throw in quite a large sum of cosmetics but there was enough room to add the actual product boxes as well! Just imagine how much more room she can have if she removed the cosmetics from the original container.

Congrats again to your Supergirl for your win and I know it will come in handy for you as you informed me you are a bit of a traveler. You can select a Hold Me bag of your choice on the brand's website listed below. The price is a little high but well worth it to stay organized and put together. Stay Beautiful! XOXO

The Hold Me Bag company was gracious enough to send me a Hold Me Bag of my very own along with a thoughtful note thanking Venus Loves Virgo Blog for a successful contest. I wanted to wait doing a review until the winner submitted her prize photo's and now that she has my review will be posted shortly.

Lori Greiner Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer-Part 1

big size but not overwhelming

great for dresser, bathroom or on makeup vanity
top view of lipstick holders and such
top tray is removable
base spins so items can be found quickly
middle section for laying flat larger items or longer pencils
make sure you get the genuine quality item

This is the makeup caddy tweeted about a couple of weeks ago and I finally had a moment to snap some shots of my Lori Greiner Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer. Yes, it spins! This is an item I have been interested in quite some time now not only because it makes my dresser top feel like a department store display but it's 100% a must have item for me. I have containers and tubes and thingies galore sprinkled everywhere and needed more space. The storage and huge baskets I'm using now are great but you have to dig through the pile to find certain items that fall to the bottom and with this unit you get to sort out the smaller pots, eye shadow singles along with larger size bottles. The top is great for accessing lipstick, pencils and brushes easily. The top comes off too so you can use that piece in another room if you want. For instance mine is in my bedroom but if I needed to grab lipsticks or brushes to apply makeup in the bathroom I can easily remove that top tray and carry it with me.The spin feature is practical as it is awesome because if you have limited space  and place this on a back wall you don't have to move it around to find items, just give it a spin to get to the compartment you like. For the biggest items or really long pencils the middle section is the best as you can lay the products vertically and flat or even place bigger moisturizer jars here.

Go from plain-faced to absolutely fantastic in mere minutes. Because it's easier and faster to put your makeup on when it's neatly organized. This tabletop organizer holds over 100 pieces of your everyday beauty essentials, arranging them in specially designed compartments for ultimate efficiency. What's more, it spins so you can access your skin care, colored cosmetics, or other grooming supplies. From Lori Greiner.
  • Plastic
  • Measures approximately 10"H x 11"L x 11"W
  • Made in China
I'm not going to type up every little feature because for starter's this piece speaks for itself and I'm adding the product spec's along with a link for you to see a video of this organizer in action.  While it might not fit every product you have it will definitely eliminate plenty of clutter holding up to 100 pieces of makeup! If you have teenage girls this could help them keep bathroom space neat and organized as well. Makes a great gift for those who are going off to college in the fall because dorms have limited space. All in all it's a fabulous organizational piece, fun, the quality of the plastic is very durable and it's really affordable which is why this gets a full five starfish rating from me. Part 2 will show how I filled the unit. Stay beautiful! XOXO

TweezerMan Limited Edition Pink Glitter Tweezer Set

As promised, another must have beauty tool for your arsenal, A Sephora Limited Edition Exclusive TweezerMan Pink Glitter Set. I recently purchased this but purposely held off on a review until it got some use out of me this way it's easier for me to bring you all the kinks of a product before you decide to spend your money on it. This product excites me and I hope my review is useful to you in some way and if your in dire need of a good tweezer then grab this before they are sold out. Below you will find some product info from Sephora before I post my results.

Petite Tweezer Set - Glitter Pink
What it is:
A portable, expert-quality tweezer duet in eye-catching pink. What it does:
Great for purse or travel, this stainless steel tweezer duo contains one slanted tweezer for general tweezing needs, and one super fine, pointed tweezer for more refined tweezing. The chic, shiny pink case and pink-sparkle-finished tweezers add a fun "pop" to your grooming routine.

This set contains:
- Slanted tweezer
- Super-fine tweezer
- Travel case

Guarantee:
Tweezerman sharpens implements that have dulled through normal use FREE, for as long as the implement can be resharpened (no shipping, handling, or processing fees). If the implement is damaged, Tweezerman will repair it for $5 or at your option.
Send product (insured) in a padded mailer to:
Tweezerman Service
235 Blue Bell Road
Houston, TX 77037-1307 USA

Pro:good quality,grabs fine ingrown hairs,hygienic traveling case with pink pouch,cruelty free,lifetime service,great bargain,manageable size handles well,limited edition,guarantee

Con:super fine tweezer is very sharp! Use with extreme caution

My results: I believe I reviewed some Tweezerman items in the past but this set is at the moment officially my favorite grouping so far from the brand. Tweezers are like something sacred to me because well you know a girl needs the right tools for the occasional ingrown issues that pop up. The absolute worse kind of tweezers are from the drug store because those no name brands are totally useless after a couple of times so it makes sense to buy a decent one and not worry about it for a long time. The great thing about this brand is that they replace, sharpen or repair your tweezer and all you have to do is dish out for the $5 shipping fee, how great is that! I don't think it's as perfect as my TNT tweezer which is constructed on this platform base and grabs better than the slant tweezers form Tweezerman but it comes in second. TNT is so hard to find that this is my next best option. I do love the super fine tweezer the best because it really grabs those pesky hairs whether it's an ingrown, fine or thick it works wonders. But beware the super fine is pointy and sharp! I almost poked my eyeballs out because I had it in my hands when I shifted my arms up and if your not careful you can scare your face. You need to be patient when using this one.

My technique with the super fine-(first wash your face and dry it completely) then grab the hair firmly and gently wiggle it a bit while pulling it in the opposite direction of it's growth. It pulls the hair out completely without chopping or leaving the root in.

Even though this set is listed as mini it's not that much smaller than the full size with the slant at almost two inches and the super fine a little bigger than that. It's very comfortable and manageable in your hands making it very easy to use. The construction is weighty and comes with a nice clear travel case as well as another pink metallic pouch and clear stoppers for each tweezer.

Venus Tip: Never drop the tweezers or try to adjust them, they can be damaged this way. Also keep the clear stoppers on the tweezers at all time when not using them, this ensures that the strength of the tweezers grip wont diminish over time. And never forget to sterilize tweezers before first and every use with alcohol or antibacterial warm soapy water.

As for the cute factor, they are pink and glittery! I want to explain that the glitter on these are not chunky or touchable, the glitter seems to be on top of the paint then coated with a glaze so you can't feel it under your finger tips which I'm grateful for. Before I purchased this it worried me that the glitter would fall off or get in the way but that's not the case at all. All in all I'm very happy with my buy and highly recommend this as it's a value getting two quality tweezers for the price of one in a fun limited edition pink metallic case. The price is very decent and worth it seeing you wont have to run out and buy another set in a month like the cheapie drugstore no names. This gets a five starfish rating and I hope you guys grab a set before it's gone. Stay beautiful!
