Prayer Request: Lebanon

Edwin asks:A young lady from our College prayer group, Heather, has relatives visiting family in Lebanon, Israel has blockaded Lebanon's ports and the military attacks have left Beirut's airport unusable. Israel states that there is nowhere in Lebanon that is immune from attack. The United States estimates 25,000 Americans live or work in Lebanon, and there are an unknown number of visitors. The US military is still considering its options on evacuation.

Please pray for their safe and swift return, and peace in the region. The following is from Heather's soon-to-be fiance', Chris. Their engagment party is on hold until Heather's family can get home:

"...I wanted to say is that one of Heather's aunts and two of her cousins are in Lebanon. You might know that Lebanon, as well as Israel, has been bombarded with war. Thus, Heather's family members there are stuck until the American military can evacuate them. We do not know when they will be back. For Heather's family and for our engagement, I request for your prayers. I am praying for Heather's aunt and two cousins to safely return to Southern California as soon as possible."
