Designer Spotlight: Charlie Rocket
I could go on and on about Charlie Rocket...so here I go!
Charlie Rocket is children's clothes company based right here in Los Angeles. I've been down to their headquarters, which is in a fantastic art deco building near downtown. It's a light and bright warren of huge rooms, and the architecture is stunning (and inspiring).
They produce 95% of their line domestically using the best quality fabrics and fabrications, which really shows in how these clothes both look and wear. The fit is right in line with what's in style today, and the designs are modern without being too "out there," so they work for almost every boy. We think the prices are right on target for such a high-quality product that is made here in the U.S. No children making children's clothes, right? Unfortunately these days, that comes with a "premium" (translated: good wages for the employees).
