Hercut Long Layers Catalyst

my sample package that I tested

I did a post about this product awhile back and since then I have had the chance to sample Hercut Catalyst Hair Styling Cream in the Long Layers formula because my hair length is long and it's also curly.I only wish they added more cream in the pouch, after all it is for long layers which logic dictates there's longer hair that needs more product.Let me talk about what this product is supposed to do:Hercut is specifically engineered to work to accentuate a women's individual hair cut.For more style formulas to choose from and more product info click here to visit my previous post. There are two separate creams that need to be mixed together from the dual sided pump on the bottle,in my case the sample packs had two separate pouches that I had to open and mix together in the palm of my hands. One is a cream & the other is a clear activator gel, thus the name of the product comes into play because the two formulas form a catalyst effect when combined. This product is to be applied onto damp hair and then you blow dry and style as usual. It's a heat activated product so you really need to blow dry you hair.I mention this because I generally don't blow dry but followed the directions to test it out properly.I didn't have a lot to work with from the pouch but I could already tell this is something you only apply a little at a time and build on it because it was getting a bit sticky. After my hair was dry I did notice my curls where more defined and fell into shape without any other styling cream.I also noticed a slight bounce with some body on my roots, nothing drastic.I wish it would add some moisture for those of us who have frizzy dry ends and perhaps a nice scent would have worked because this has no scent to it.I just personally prefer nice swelling hair but no scent is better than a bad scent. It's an okay product but nothing major in my opinion.I might consider purchasing it to see how it works if I have more of the styling cream to add in my hair.Plus it does keep the hairs from falling flat.If you have healthy hair than me or straighter hair in a long length maybe this product will prove to be better. But my biggest issue was there was not an even ratio of cream and clear formula to blend. The cream was more than the clear gel and I couldn't mix properly.I'm wondering if the full sized bottle might have this issue as well? I also thought they could offer a larger size bottle for long hair because more product is needed for lengthy hair. It's okay but could have been impoved in moisture and adding equal parts of the formula.
