Tokiodoki Adios Cromatica Eye Quad

I got my hands on this Limited Edition Tokidoki Cromatica Eyeshadow Palette-in Adios and here is my review:I'll start with the packaging which is really nice especially since this is more for the Tokidoki collector than for the actual makeup.The outer package is clear thick plastic with graphic artwork and inside the actual palette is shaped like a big giant plastic cube measuring 2 x 2 inches.It has two compartments with the top layer holding four eye shadows for creating a smoky eye look with one dual sided brush.The bottom of the cube holds the Tokidoki "Adios" character charm key chain which is about  an inch in size.It's great for holding tiny bobby pins and little items doubling as a storage bin.It has graphic artwork throughout the case.It's nicely constructed,good quality.The eye color shades included are a silvery white pearl-a very glittery silver-a nice deep black charcoal and a gorgeous blue steel/gunmetal shade.It appears to be very dark teal on my skin and you can definitely see the blue in it but it's not blue.I never saw a shade quite like this and makes this smoky eye quad special.It's a gorgeous shade! I have to say I was disappointed with the white pearl because it's so dry and caked-I had to rub my finger over it forever to get some pigment. to show up.Using a brush for application was no better but after dampening the brush it made it easier.The silver has a lot of glitter in it and not as dry as the white.The best shades were the black and that gunmetal which were easy to blend and a lot silkier.Why the white shade is super dry is beyond me? I would also recommend using a primer for this set.I need to mention that the photo swatch taken that the black shade looks brownish in the photo but it's not,it's a nice deep black.This is a must have for the Tokidoki fan and an Adios fan like myself.It's one of my fave characters.To be honest the quality of the makeup is not that great but like I said it's a must have for the collector.The added key chain with this cute cube palette makes it fun to display on your vanity.It is a bit pricey for the inferior color formula.If only they worked on the formula because the colors themselves are nice and so is the overall design.I hope they improve on this issue in the future.
