Avon Skin So Soft Mini Wax Kit

I had this Avon Skin So Soft Mini Wax Kit that someone gave to me and for the life of me I can't remember who. Anyway, I had it for awhile now but tossed it aside in a basket somewhere and never used until last night. It should have stayed in the basket! First let me tell you what this kit has to offer:a mini tweezer {which is worthless}-sealed wax strips with 2 strips for each use-a soothing calming oil and instructions. It's real simple to use,just warm the strips in your hand a few seconds then separate the two strips and apply to area in the direction of hair growth and pull quickly in the opposite direction then rinse with cool water and apply soothing oil. I'm not a fan of at home wax strips because the upper area of my mouth is very sensitive. In the past my area always gets irritated badly when waxing but I decided to give it another try instead of using my usual Japanese torture contraption.I'll post a review of that mini device of terror soon ;)  Anyway, sure enough the strip peeled a chunk of flesh from my upper lip and now I have to wait for weeks until it heals hoping it wont scar. Maybe it's just my over sensitive skin in this area? On my cheeks it really didn't irritate as much. It also didn't wax off the little course hairs and left some fine ones behind too. The only wonderful item in the kit was the sweet smelling apricot soothing oil. It's amazing! You wake up with the redness gone and the area soft. I'm going to see if they sell this in a full size bottle. So far in my attempts to achieve better skin with my challenge I have been burned,flesh has been ripped off and hideous breakouts  popped up all over the place. Thank goodness that went away after a week! This seems to be going in the opposite direction for me ~ Ma cosa sta succedendo qui ? Lol! Just pondering what the heck is going on. Ever hate when you try to take one step forward only to end up ten steps back? It's such a killjoy for ones momentum... Anyone use a product that works perfectly for super duper sensitive facial skin-do tell Maria so she can give up the Asian hair extractor from hell.  Have a lovely Sunday! XOXO
