Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Serum

Let me start by wishing everyone officially HAPPY FALL DAY! With about three weeks of use with the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum I'm ready to review it. This item is fairly new from the Regenerist line that launched this past May 2010. It also has received acclaim from women as the lightest formula with proven results in surveys. First here are are a few details about this product and it's use: This product is a super concentrated serum containing Olay's most concentrated amino-peptide complex. I'm sure you  all know how I've blogged to death about the amazing qualities of amino peptides from previous posts and how effective this ingredient is in treatments. Well I'm going to continue to spread the word on amino-peptides especially in Olay products because I have seen actual results over the years from day one with dramatic improvements to my skin but more specifically it's what I haven't seen-which is the effects of aging. I'm still fairly young for the aging process to ravage my skin but whether Regenerist halts or slows down the process is not really clear to me but knowing that its working makes me stick with this fantastic skin care line!  This particular serum is clinically proven to help firm the skin's appearance across three key zones:the face-the neck and decolletage. It helps visibly improve the appearance of skin across the face as well as firm the skin around the neck and decolletage. Women often forget to take care of the neck and decolletage area and with a serum like this which targets all those areas it's easy to incorporate into your skin care routine without the hassle of having a separate product for each area of your face. Studies have shown to firm these ares in little as five days which results varying from individuals. You get super charged Amino-Peptides and VitaminB3 in this formula from a pump bottle delivery system. This super light serum releases these ingredients more rapidly with longer lasting results than traditional serums. The serum also acts as a moisture sponge to retain hydration at skins surface helping to fortify and boosts skin firmness. As for my results I have to say that between this and that lovely lavender night time Olay moisturizer that Ive been using over two months now my skin feels more plump and hydrated than ever before. Sometimes I wonder if the results seen are just my perceptions because I have been using Regenerist for so long with love for this line but that's not the case. The other day an elderly aunt commented on my skin. She never ever compliments me on anything but she asked what have I been doing to my face because it looks more full. When I told her it was Olay and have been telling her to use this for years but no one ever listens to me. Anyway,she just dismissed the fullness in my face as weight gain. Ahhh family!...the ties that bond us  LOL! Her snarky comments don't fool me because I know she was being sincere and for the record I did not put on any weight I actually lost three whole pounds! Woo! The consistency of the formula is very silky and light. It has this very subtle pearl essence sheen to it and a lovely floral fragrance. It's made for either morning or night time use and I have been using this as a morning treatment before applying my foundation. It absorbs nicely but it's not matte therefor leaving a hint of dewiness on your face. You only need a few drops because it's highly blend-able but if you apply it with a heavy hand then add foundation on type it flakes a bit along with your make-up. I did this a few times and found it annoying to have to touch up my make-up again but it was my own fault for applying a second layer. I'm the one who is always telling others to use less. It appears that I had gotten serum slather happy :)  When I use this again I'll prefer to use this as a night time treatment instead. How you use it would have to be an individuals preference. My fine lines seem less visible and as I mentioned my cheeks feel super plumped. I suggest you ladies get started on an anti-aging routine immediately! Your never too young to take care of your skin because it does creep up on you without warning. For mature skin it's possible to reverse and help improve the over all appearance of your skin you just need to find which one of the products from the Olay Regenersit line are best suited for you. The pump mechanism works nicely without any mess or spilling and there's a lot of product still left that I might be able to stretch it out passed a month. If you use the original serum this is less oily and lighter so if you had issue with the heaviness of the original serum you might want to opt for this one instead. I also want to mention no breakouts or irritations were experienced by me using this. It's a great light treatment that packs a powerful punch with the pricing set at affordability for everyone.
