Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller

This full size Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller was given to me as a gift with purchase and after using it for a week I'm ready to post my findings. This product is meant to conceal your dark under eye circles while brightening and adding skin nutrients at the same time. It's also supposed to make your eyes look brighter after one week use. The product contains caffeine, lemon essence and mineral pigments. This is available in sheer tint which is compatible for most skin tones but no other color options are available. Let me talk about the color first which really is very sheer and blends in perfectly. With the swatch I made above the product was not blended into my skin because I wanted to be able to show the shade but it's lighter than that when you work it into the eye area. This product is super dry after you apply it and very matte. If you have severely dry skin under your eye you may want to moisturize first or perhaps skip this, you would have to see for yourself how comfortable it sits on your skin. I didn't mind that it was matte because it didn't interfere with my moisturizer application plus it didn't cake up. The roller point had a cooling sensation when I applied it which was nice. The best part was that it didn't burn or irritate my eyes and it's made to apply into the corner of your eyes and on the lids as well so if you suffer from eye sensitivities you don't need to worry about any stinging sensation. Having the shade mesh seamlessly into my skin was also another plus. What I didn't like was that it didn't brighten or change the darkness under my eyes after a week and even though I don't have deep dark circles I didn't experience any change. Also, it doesn't seem like an anti-aging product either because it does not firm or add moisture around the eye area. To me what this really is is a nice concealer that doesn't irritate and last well into the day but needs reapplying later on into the night. It's a decent handy concealer for less mature skin unless your mature skin is a little on the oilier side and it's price point is reasonable. I would want to use this only when using matte foundation as it would make my entire face look  more uniform while helping to conceal imperfections. If you find you need more glow and moisture around your eye area you might not like the dry feeling it produces. Stay beautiful. XOXO
