The beauty professionals over at Italian Vogue have declared war on winter humdrums with the use of a tropical color palette. But it's not your typical eighties take on neon hues but rather pops of color with a softer focus using chromatic tones mixed with shimmering metallic's. Playing around with the likes of yellow, green and blue pigments has a proven effect on making us feel more positive and happier. For me, I love the way the colors seem to fit out of place in the winter season and maybe a bit on the inappropriate side at that but that's what makes it so daring!
