Legendary Tree Called "Sacred" Destroyed By Vandals In UK

"When I read this story about a supposedly "sacred tree" that some in the UK think "unites everybody in the town", that was destroyed by vandals in the UK, I had to gasp to myself. Romans Chapter 1, particularly verse twenty five immediately comes to mind, as well as God's Commandment "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

Friends, this amounts to nothing less than idolatry and paganism, and is forbidden by God;  and linking this tree to the Christian religion, calling it sacred, when it is Jesus Christ whom we worship, is a mockery to the faith that Christians all over the world adhere to. Jesus Christ is the ONE who unites people together all over the world by His Holy Spirit who lives in all of His people, not a tree.   Only Jesus Christ is worthy to be worshipped, because only Jesus died for your sins to give you eternal life.  If you don't know Jesus, now is the time to get to know him. Don't put it off any longer.   Today is the day of salvation for you!
