BWC Satin Finish Eyeshadow Duo

Today's review is for Beauty Without Cruelty Satin Finish Eye Shadow Duo Shade Aquamarine-Aquarium 9. I just love the shade name as well as the sleep compact trademark swan complete in it's new packaging! First some product information about this eye shadow listed below:

Satin Finish  Eyeshadow Duo: Vegan and vegetarian. Contains no animal ingredients, cruelty free, Certified asbestos free (European regulations) Glides on easy with a satin finish, long lasting color.

My results: This eyeshadow is absolutely fabulous and asbestos free! It's something we don't generally concern ourselves with but for a person like me with sensitive eyes it makes me less concerned with what harmful elements may get into my eyes. The compact is a sleek acrylic, very feminine with the trademark swan and comes with a little applicator wand. If you follow my blog then you know applicator wands are all the same in every compact, not really professional but come sin handy when you need to pop this out of your bag and touch up, it beats using your fingers. The lovely lady who sent this to me was thoughtful enough to go read my profile in my about me section to discover the colors used by me and sent me this beautiful shade in the blue family to make my hazel eyes pop. Great choice-love this shade! The formula is very well pigmented and glides on easily. The silky powder makes it a cinch to blend and work with. These shades have some silky sheen to them but no glitter making it gorgeous for day and night wear. The lighter highlighter shade has a silvery shift to it and can be used on it's own as well or this duo can be buildable for a more dramatic smoky eye. I have been using this all week without primer and it last all day with minimal creasing, the formula stays put! I do wish the compact would be bigger as I'm afraid this will run out to quickly with daily use as you get a total of 4 grams-2 gr each shade. Comes in five gorgeous shades to compliment every eye color out there.

Pro:silky finish, blendable, long lasting color, richly pigmented, gorgeous shade, portable sleek compact, cruelty free, vegan product, asbestos free

Con: smaller size (4 grams) a bit pricey for weight in grams

shades available in: violets, greens, blues, browns, silver

If you don't mind paying a little more for asbestos free, cruelty free, vegan eyeshadow then this is a fabulous one to buy. The richly pigmented formula is just as good in terms of wear as designer brands. This item is getting a fabulous 5 starfish rating from me. A larger compact would have given this my superstar fish and maybe they can make these a more generous size in the future. Stay tuned for more product reviews from this brand as I'm saving the best item for last plus I have an idea for a blog challenge and found my first fabulous prize to giveaway. Hint  hint... it involves a limited edition kitty ^;^  from Sephora. I'm going to be posting a question to my members soon to help me out with this giveaway challenge just to see if it's something you would all like to participate in otherwise I'll use the prize for a regular contest-we'll see. Have a great weekend. Stay beautiful!  XOXO
