Samaritan’s Purse-Bringing Hope To The Hopeless In Japan In Jesus Name

Samaritan’s Purse is bringing hope to the hopeless in Japan, all in Jesus name.

“We are so, so thankful for all the help that Samaritan’s Purse is giving us,” said Ayako Lawrence, a Japanese Christian working with our team. “We have serious problems, a lack of necessities. I am so grateful that Samaritan’s Purse responded so immediately like this. We are really, really thankful.”

Teams are going out from our warehouse in Sendai to surrounding communities such as Ishinomaki, one of the hardest hits towns, to deliver the supplies to people in desperate need. More at above link

Japanese Congressman Ryuichi Doi says Jesus is the only hope for his countrymen in the aftermath of the massive disaster that struck Japan March 11, 2011.

“This is my responsibility, to tell the people," he said. "As a Christian, and also as a politician. Let’s start from this. Let’s have hope. We need faith. If we don’t have faith, nobody can have hope. Here in Japan we are a very small group, as Christians in this society. So we must tell them how to have faith.

“From this situation, people can live again.”
