There has been a few mixups on who was writing the blog, so it is Joan, Susan and Rachel´s turn tonight (again). Yesterday we saw the falls, which were AMAZING. They stretched very far and we were amazed at God´s incredible creation. I (Susan) found the amount of water incredulous, I never imagined so much water-and the fact that it just keeps coming. I also enjoyed shopping in Argentina, I found some pretty neat things, and it was really fun to be out and about.
WOW !!!! The Falls and being outside. After the falls we went to Argentina & had empanadas (filled with the best cheese and then on for a steak dinner - its true Argentina has the best beef. Tonight was the start of our Youth Weekend & we had 50 people. It was hard to sort out exact ages as families from the favela came with little ones. They even asked if a 100 year old woman could come. At our small group a young woman with a Muslim father prayed to receive the Lord and a mother of 2 of the youths prayed to have courage to return to church after turing away from the Lord for many years. Tomorrow we will hear what happened in the other groups. Blessings, Joan
Well, today, is the 22 of Julio. Brasil is amazing, and continues to surprise me (Rachel). I find that God is using everyone in different ways throughout the trip. Also, I had an awesome day today but I realize that everyday is pretty awesome. I gave my testimony tonight and it felt really good to share my faith with a group of Brasilian youth. I am excited to empower the Brasilians here. I love Brasil.
