More Words of Wisdom From Michele Bachmann

At a political event in Sarasota, Fla. the presidential hopeful said the following:

"I don't know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians. We've had an earthquake; we've had a hurricane. He said, 'Are you going to start listening to me here?' Listen to the American people because the American people are roaring right now. They know government is on a morbid obesity diet and we've got to rein in the spending."

There are few things I am certain of but this is one of them- God doesn't care about American spending or budgets or your record or movie or your sports accomplishments.

Her representatives later said it was a joke.  I know nothing funnier than joking about events that take peoples lives.
