@ FM419

FINALLY!! The youth from St. Paul's and their youth leaders attended one of the most anticipated events of the year-FM419

Speakers John Cass, James Taylor Jr. & Nick Hall helped almost 900 youth get down to the basics of

'what you believe, find power to live what you say, and learn how to share your faith with others'

'The SPY' went round interrogating some youth of their thoughts on FM419.

Target: Graham W. (Grade 12)
Answer This: Would you please tell me what part of the teaching in FM419 impacted you the most?

"I think that the parts that impacted me the most were the part about using God's word and the part about those whom we like the least are often those who most need God. The first impacted me because it called to memorize scripture and I realized I should. The second was impactful because there are people I know but don't really like and instead of trying to like them I just distance myself from them because it's easier."

Target: Susan H. (Grade 9)
Answer This: Can you tell me why of your decision to PRAY for 9 of your friends? What from FM419 led you to that decision?

"I commited to praying for 9 friends everyday because I value my friends a lot, and I realized that I don't pray for my friends very consistantly, even though I should. I liked the way they compared new Christians to babies in the sense that they need feeding, protecting, and training, because it shows that just like babies, they aren't mature, and for the first few years, they will need help figuring stuff out. Some of my friends aren't Christians, and some of them are, but don't go to church regularly, so if I pray more often, I hope that my friends will be able to have a better relationship with Christ."

Target: Stacy L. (Grade 7)
Answer This: What did you learn from FM 419? Were there any life changing moments for you during FM419?

"I learned that it's more than easy to share my faith with others..actually not that easy..But At lease I learned that  if the person tells you that they don't want to listen to your "God" thing,it doesn't mean they're rejecting you;they're rejecting God!!Since I went to FM419 I realized that everything is not only about me,it's also about others and I now take more time to spend with God and I also pray for my friends, more often.I'm also really thankful that I had the opportunity to go to FM419!"

What would FM419 be if there were no mention about 'The Afters
They rocked out with the FM419 crowd and led the worship sessions over the weekend.

And the clip below TOTALLY was what the youth that weekend felt like-they just wanted to "ROCK ON!" with 'The Afters.
