Urban Decay Revolver Perfume Oil

This is a very long overdue review but better late than never! Urban Decay Revolver Oil Perfume is a spicy, exotic scent. This is definitely not one for those who love girly girl perfumes as it's packed with top notes of lychee and pineapple leaf mixing with middle notes of warm fig and then finishing off with base notes of amber and Egyptian musk. I feel these notes are more mature and sophisticated, for those of you who lean towards oriental-spicy scents this would be an ideal choice. A great way to describe it would be exotic, I feel like throwing on a caftan while dancing barefoot when I put this on. When they say "potent" amber in the description there not joking, it's really strong. With the first application the only thing my nose gets hit with was waaay too much leaf scent but be warned if your expecting pineapple hints, there are none. After a few minutes I can smell the warm fig notes and eventually the dry down is very musky. For me it's a bit strong at first but I love how it reacts with my body chemistry after a couple of hours, it's very warm and sensual. Yes, I say a few hours but it lasts well into the night and next morning while your still partying! That would be due to the oil formula and the great thing about it is that people in the same room can't smell you from afar but only when they get close enough to you which is what perfume should be, very private without being intrusive to your surroundings. It's something you can enjoy when you move around and get those warm notes rise up on your skin and hit you. If you were a fan of Urban Decays Sin oil then this is something similar to that in terms of spiciness. I was more of a pistol fan so much so I purchased like tons of those bottles. This is nice and I happen to like fig scents but I don't know if I will be getting multiples of this as this should last me for a long time plus I lean more towards warm creamy scents rather than spicy one such as this. It almost has a tiny hint of Jo Malone's Fig perfume and you must be a fan of fig scents or you wont like this because the fig is very strong here. A small little issue I have is the name, I don't get the whole gun thing plus they already did that with pistol. I mean I get that it has that urban vibe feel but they should have given this a more exotic name as it might mislead others into thinking it's a cool fun scent. It's really more of a mature scent rather than one for younger girls. You would have to smell first before buying git to decide if it's your type of scent. I also wish they would have put less leaf notes in it as it makes the oil smell as if it almost has a unisex nose to it. If I stood next to a man wearing this it would have any notes of femininity to it but it's not masculine either... I'm not regretting the purchase because it's something I'll be wearing when I'm in a certain mood, it works well with my body chemistry as warm scents agree with me plus it's something else added to my Urban Decay collection. The packaging is more streamlined than the previous oils they made in a smaller box and the bottle is topped with a roller ball applicator. It's only a small amount but it will last you a long time because all you need is a few drops on your pulse points. If you think this is a scent for you then head on over to Urban Decay and buy it because it's on it's last call soon to be discontinued. Stay beautiful! XOXO
