Kelly Clarkson's Interview with Us
The former American Idol Winner takes reality TV and her love of it with Us.
Us: Why did you decide to do this great event?
Kelly Clarkson: I think what Tupperware is doing with the Chain of Confidence is so important, creating a place where women can share confidence, show support and build each other up. I’ve learned how important confidence is, especially in this industry, and I am into anything that helps people just be themselves.
Us: Why is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America so important?
KC: The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is so necessary because they build places where children can have a safe haven and support center, which is so important for kids to have at a young age. That’s where confidence starts!
Us: What do you do to relax?
KC: I love spending time with my friends and family. And I just love to sing. I am also a reality show junkie-you name it, I watch it!
Us: Do you still watch Idol? Who should win?
KC: I do still watch Idol, more this season than any other! I totally love Lauren…I just love when you can see someone sing through their “person” and you can just feel it- she has so much beauty that comes through with her singing.
Us: Will you watch the X Factor?
KC: I will – I love all of those talent shows and think they are great for the whole industry, because they are all about the music and the voice-everything it should be about.
Us: What are your thoughts on having confidence while living in the limelight?
KC: It is so hard to find confidence in this industry when everyone is trying to tell you what they think you should be. I have learned to schedule a lot of “me” time so I can make sure I am always feeling my best. I have also been so lucky that God gave me amazing people in my life that help keep me grounded and be the best I can be.
Us: What’s your guilty pleasure?
KC: Reality TV- you name it, I watch it!
Us: Are girls from Texas tougher than girls from the other 49 states?
KC: I am so proud to be from Texas and I can say we definitely have tough girls. Traveling around the country I have noticed there are tough girls all over!
Us: When you get writer’s block how do you get over it?
KC: That is such a tough question! Sometimes it is better to just separate for a little while and hang out with family or friends until I can just be back in the writing zone.

American Idol down to Final TWO
This years winner won't be legal! The final two spots belong to 17-year-old singer Scotty McCreery and 16-year-old Lauren Alaina.
Haley Reinhart was voted off after received the fewest amount of votes, oh and by the way she was 20.
The score will be settled and a new American Idol will be crowned on Wednesday after of course the two teenagers go head to head on Tuesday night. This will be the youngest Idol match up in the shows ten year history, which isn't such a big surprise after they lowered the minimum age requirements to 15 this season.

Nikki Reed dating American Idol Paul McDonald
The pair's first meeting was caught on camera, when Nikki approached Paul on the red-carpet and said, "You're amazing. I'm blushing, I should go." Paul then says, "Wow, thank you" and the two hugged and said goodbye. Minutes later, when Nikki is off camera, Paul asks, "Was she a famous actress or something? I'd hang out with her!" The couple's relationship is now described as being "official" and a source claims that Paul is Nikki's "boyfriend".

American Idol Shocker(Pink and Stink)
That's right two in the pink and one in the stink and it left the judges unhappy.
Here is what JLo had to say of the violation: "I have no idea what just happened here," said judge Jennifer Lopez. "I'm shocked, I'm angry, I don't even know what to say."
Randy Jackson was just as upset(thought he was dude and didn't have a pink):"I'm never really mad on this show, but this makes me mad."
Oh....the shocker in question was not the famed "shocker" but the results of the voting that was shocking. Ahhh got it.

Steven Tyler in trouble with Idol producers?
The producers of 'American Idol' "apologized," it turns out, for Tyler's hinting to a contestant with the last name of Muck that his name rhymed with a certain profane word. Some have interpreted the apology as satire aimed at those who complained about it last week.

'American Idol': Chris Medina Sings For Brain Damaged Girlfriend Juliana Ramos (VIDEO)
The 26-year-old barista said doctors thought Ramos wouldn't make it, but he believed in her. "I just felt there's no way she's not going to wake up. I didn't know what to expect after that," he said.
Media says he and Ramos' mother are now her full time caretakers. On "Idol," Ramos was in a wheelchair, her body seemed to shake at times beyond her control.
"If I were to make it to Hollywood I feel like it would get her to be happy about something," Medina told the judges. "I feel like I would have already won."
Then he started to sing "Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)" by The Script and he brought the house down.
"That's why he sings so good, because he sings to you," judge Steven Tyler whispered into Ramos' ear after the performance. Full Story Here and Video Below
