Are Courtney Stodden And Doug Hutchison Working on a Reality Show?

According to an interview they gave with an Australian TV show they are.

Doug said he and his happy 16-year-old bride have been "seduced by a lot of producers" and are working on a reality show about their unconventional yet happy marriage.

"It's going to be a reality show like no other," said Courtney. "Out of this world."

Courtney as usual never disappoints with very odd mannerisms and speech patterns. She always appears to be on some sort of drug and this interview is no different. With that said the reality show will probably be a huge hit.

16-Year-Old Bride Not Ready To Be A Mom - Just Yet!

Courtney Stodden's fame hungry mother gave another interview to RadarOnline on the subject of her daughters sex life and baby plans.

"She's making sure as much as she can at this time that it isn't happening," Krista said about her newlywed daughter, who tied the knot Hutchison in Las Vegas in May.

"She's on birth control because she would prefer to wait for children," her mom said. Her husband might have a different idea though. "I think Doug would love to have children, but Courtney wants to wait a few years."

"Courtney wants to work on her career," Krista explained, but knowing that accidents do happen, she said it would be a joy to the family if her daughter did fall pregnant.

"If something happens we do not believe in abortion, so if God blesses them that would be ok, but they're not trying for a baby now," she says.

Krista Stodden's Giving Interviews Too

Not to be out done by her 16 year old daughter and the 51 year old actor who married her, Courtney Stodden's mother Krista is giving interviews too. Even seeking them out.

Mrs. Stodden sought out an interview with blogger Robert Stacy McCain after reading his post VIDEO: Teen Bride Courtney Stodden Says, ‘God Blessed Me With My Soulmate’. In the article he calls attention to the fact that on Courtney Stodden's Facebook page: "Courtney describes herself as a Christian and a Republican. She's on our side, whether we like it or not."

In the interview Mr. McCain, which can be read here, Krista laughs off the label of trailer trash saying, "In fact, I've never lived in a trailer." Seemingly missing the point that the actions are of those on Jerry Springer which most would describe as trailer trash. She goes on to detail their wealth and the fact that both she and her husband own businesses. "Mrs. Stodden is a hairdresser who owns a successful salon and drives a Jaguar, and says that if anything, her daughter -- who was privately educated at a Christian academy -- was previously 'known as a spoiled little rich girl that has everything she wants.'"

Krista goes on to say about Courtney, "She'd say to me, 'I'm going to move to California. I'm going to live in Hollywood. I just have this feeling. That's where I belong.'"

And she finally compares Courtney to Bo Derek, "I look at the story of John Derek and Bo Derek, and they had a very successful marriage, and she was actually younger than Courtney when she got together with John Derek."

In an Interview with Fox411 Krista Stodden mother of the now famous Courtney Stodden the "16 Year Old Bride" explains signing the parental consent for marriage.

“We all needed a good man in our lives,” said Krista, adding the 35-year age gap does not faze her. “After a while you don’t look at the age. You look at the love they started to have towards each other. He became more than a number to us.”

Courtney, an aspiring actress, model and pop singer, met her husband when he began managing her career. Her parents welcomed Hutchinson, who is four years older than his new father-in-law, into their lives when he started dating their daughter.

“He was her manager, and then as we got to know him, we got to see what kind of person he was,” Krista said. “He just became a wonderful person in our eyes, and he’s a great Christian man.”
Courtney and Doug did not want to wait the two years until she turned 18 to marry. (Once you are 18, you do not need parental consent.)

“I think probably because the distance, they didn’t want to wait,” explained Krista. “They lived in different areas and, you know, they just wanted to be together and we supported her on that.”

“We are totally supportive of this marriage,” Courtney’s mother Krista Stodden exclusively told RadarOnline.com about her daughter’s marriage to the Green Mile and X-Files actor.

“Doug is a wonderful man and we love him.”

The happy couple tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 20, and Krista confirmed that at least one parent had to sign the permission form for the marriage to take place.
