Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Wash

These samples of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Body Wash were given to me several months back and I'm just now getting to them. The good news is that after using up six containers of these already a thorough review is able to be given! The samples you see in the photos above are what's left of the stash. Each little tube I got is almost two ounces lasting me several washes so a full size tube should carry you further. I'm sure everyone has heard of or at least used Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion in the past and the body wash is really nice. Unlike bath gel it actually lingers on your skin after you step out of the shower. Some product information below before I post my own results. 

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Wash

Con: no perfumed scent if your into scented body wash-didn't really tone skin

My results: The first quality I loved about this body wash was the scent which thought would be a strong cocoa butter smell but it's actually quite light and refreshing! If you use cocoa butter products then you know how heavy and thick the smell is which can be nauseating in the summer weather. I also love that the formula is a rich cream rather than a gel because it lathers up nicely but mostly you can feel your skin being softened. My skin gets fairly dry quickly and normal bath & shower gels just add a light scent without actually doing much for your skin so this is a plus. It keeps your skin well moisturized after you get out of the shower still it doesn't last all day if your skin is very dry. You get a nice lather worked up with the barest product applied onto a bath sponge or directly on your body and it won't irritate sensitive skin. The best part is that this is a cruelty free product and the full thirteen ounce container will last you a long time. I didn't notice it doing anything for my skin tone and I have been using it a long time then again my skin is light with no discolorations so I don't know how it would work on other skin types. I'm going to give this product a 4 starfish rating for it's overall affordable value and skin softening formula. It would have gotten a higher rating if I felt it was good for really dry skin still it's such a great bargain! Stay beautiful! XOXO

Kurlash Salon Series Folding Eyelash Comb

After the longest search I finally discovered the perfect lash comb and all by accident! It's true what they say you find things when you least expect it and this is a much needed comb for me because my current lash comb is literally down to it's last 4 plastic teeth. Have you ever tried brushing your lashes with a 4 tooth comb? It doesn't really help much... This review is for the Kurlash European Design Salon Series Folding Eyelash Comb W/ Metal Teeth. Not only is this lash comb pretty in pink, sanitary in it's fold over design but it's more efficient with metal teeth that will never pop off like the plastic versions! At first when I saw this it scared me into thinking the metal teeth would poke my eyeballs out but it's pretty safe for my butterfingers so it should be safe for everyone. You can also use it this for combing your brow hairs as well. Some product information below before posting my results.

Con: if not careful you can poke your eyes with the metal teeth

My results: I love this adorable yet highly practical beauty tool! Anything beautiful with genuine practical applications makes Virgo's heart go thump thump thump! This fun little lash comb is about 1.5 inches when folded over opening to about 2 inches in length. It's made of a really thick durable plastic material while the actual teeth of the comb is constructed of a strong thin metal. The fold over storage case ensures that the metal teeth will be protected when not in use and also keeps the teeth free from dust. It's also great if you throw it in your bag because the cover will make sure you don't snag anything. It separates my lashes perfectly helping me remove any mascara clumps and it doubles in use as a nice brow brush. I have to admit it scared me at first into thinking my eyeballs would be scratched with the metal teeth but if your really careful and uses two hands while not getting the comb too close to your eyes you should have no problem. I really love the idea of metal teeth because I have gone through so many plastic lash combs from the expensive department store brands to the pharmacy versions and they all end up losing their teeth! It's pretty annoying and costly, this version saves you money in the long run plus the price is decent!

This must have beauty tool gets a five starfish rating from me for it's design, ease of use, durability and price. My only issue is a real petty one wishing more colors were available or even colored metal teeth. I know...who cares tight? Still it would make it extra purrrty! Bath & Body Works Lemon Shower Gel

Today I'll be reviewing Bath & Body Works Summer Vanillas Shower Gel in Lemon. I purchased a trio of these last month never getting around to reviewing them. I used the lemon scent and saved the other two because I was going to do a giveaway which never happened probably because it slipped my mind and these were buried in this basket of products in my room. Sorry! Be on the lookout for me posting more giveaways which might include one of these. Back to the product. This has got to be the most delicious lemon scented product ever made form Bath & Body Works. Hands Down! It's mixed with vanilla making it warm rather than the usual crispness of a lemon scented product. The lather is amazing softening your skin more than usual scented gels which generally give you a feeling of tightness. This is due to the formula containing aloe vera with moisturizing Vitamin E. The downside is the scent doesn't linger on your body for long. I always hated that fact about shower gels.The company goes through the hassle of creating a wonderful scent only to have it dissipate from your body in under an hour. What a waste. But if you need a super wake me up jolt for your morning showers,this is it! Your senses will feel so refreshed and alive. If this were made into a perfume I would buy it drowning myself with the lusciousness of it all. You gotta try it before it's gone for the year because they still have some of this collection available in the shops.You have to check your own local Bath  Body Work's because products carried may vary from city to city.
