For today's review I'm finally going to talk about Too Faced The Bronzed And The Beautiful Palette-Original. They have a new bronzed palette out that is why I mention it's the original bronzer palette. I wanted to do this review not only because it's a great trio of bronzers for the summer but because it completely sold out at Sephora and other outlets but there is still time for you to purchase this at Too Faced Cosmetics before it's completely gone. This had always been on my "post" list and somehow got left behind so jump on it if you think you would like to have a set. In my honest opinion these shades are more highlighters than bronzers and I have light skin. Pink Leopard casts a warm soft glow and Sun Bunny provides most of the sun kissed warmth to your face as it's the darkest but can be worn on light skin. Snow bunny is more of a highlighter but all three would look great to amplify sun tanned skin. Snow bunny is great for me in the winter. Some product info before posting my results below.

Con: a bit pricey, small fill weight of individual powders, could be a little bit more richly pigmented

My results: I think this is a great kit to have if you want to try all three of Too Faced best selling bronzers and if your a Too Faced collector in general. It's a fun palette with lovely beach inspired graphics and comes with a good size mirror and a mini version of their best selling flatbuki brush. The reason I purchased this was for a chance to try all three shades and because you can never have too much Snow Bunny. I have snow bunny in the holiday palette plus a full size compact, it's one of my favorite highlighters. I also managed to get this at a discount because to tell the truth it is a bit pricey for such a small amount of product. I found the fill weight for each shade on back of the box- each shade is 2.5 grams and 4 for Snow Bunny but I think they look smaller than? If you like collectible palettes and want to try these shades you might like this or even consider giving this as a gift because it's pretty.

The Packaging: The palette is well constructed cardboard with a magnetic closure, good size mirror on the inside top and lovely beach inspired graphics all over the box. It's not really big about 4 x 4 inches all around which makes it easy to travel with and throw in your bag. Inside you will also find a small version pink metallic flatbuki brush about 2 inches long, very comfortable to hold in your hand with soft synthetic bristles. If you want the product to show up on your face with this brush you'll need a lot of swipes because the bristles are so soft. This annoys me a bit so I use a better professional thicker bristled brush when I'm running out of patience.

The Formula: The powders are decently pigmented but could have been richer in my opinion and they are a little on the sheer side. I guess that's good with bronzers so you can build on it without adding too much dark powder on your face. Snow Bunny is the lightest and more of a highlighter. Pink Leopard is almost like snow bunny with more warmth in the formula and you need a good hard bristles brush to really grab the pink pigment in this one or it comes up sheer. Sun Bunny looks darker than it actually is, it adds sun kissed warmth without any orange tint to it and you can layer it with light blending or turn it up a notch if you want more tint. I use Sun Bunny allover and on my eyes too. Snow bunny glistens more than the other two shades and is gorgeous in the winter for a pick me up to your skin! These bronzers should work well to brighten up all skin tones and because it's sheer in formula the actual tints may not pick up on some skin tones but it will add sheen to your skin especially if you get a nice tan. Fair to light skin will pick up pigments the most and medium to darker skin will pick up the sheen more. I love that the colors are natural looking like you have been out in the sun and will not make you look orange skinned. You either will love this or will be annoyed the pigments are not as dark as you like. For those of you who generally like a whisper of warmth and a touch of some glimmer to your face this will please you as it's very subtle and not darkening to you complexion. I like this more than the new bronzer palette that came out because those shades look darker for my light skin tone.

All in all it's a fun collectible palette giving you a chance to try all three shades before committing to a full size individual purchase with a cute flatbuki brush inside. If you can find this on sale or get a discount code like I did you wont feel so bad about buying it because it is a little pricey for this. It's also a good trio of highlighters to add a pop of glisten and warmth to wake up your skin although the formula could have been better pigmented. I was a little mixed up on how to rate this so I'm giving it a four starfish rating because for my skin tone the colors work great and the palette has all three shades conveniently placed in one set. It would have gotten a higher rating for more product because individually they aren't that big, collectively it's almost about one full size compact. Also I would like to have seen more pigmentation yet it still works good on my skin and it is cruelty free. If this seems like a set you may not like due to the colors then maybe the second edition which is available now in darker chocolate shades may be more suitable for you. Hello Kitty Memoirs Of A Kitty Palette

I'm so excited to bring you today's review for Hello Kitty Memoirs Of A Kitty Palette newly released and exclusive to Sephora. Hello Kitty debuted earlier this year and this is the newest arrival along with some other  products in the Hello Kitty line available only at Sephora. I was thinking of getting the other eye palettes a few months back but hesitated because the other palettes had lip gloss in  them and I find lip gloss useless to me in palettes. This new version which is two tiered has two different blushes instead of the lip gloss on the lower level so I splurged. The real reason is my love for Japonica items and with Memoirs Of A Geisha being my favorite novel/movie it was too cute of a tie in with the adorable cherry blossom print to pass up! Not only are the pigments great but the compact is freaking gorgeous with even printed art on the second tier of the palette. It's actually not cheap, flimsy or too girlish as most Hello Kitty cosmetics out there are which are generally made for little girls. This palette is really fat and the colors are sophisticated enough for any age taking you from day to night. A lovely way to showcase shades in the taupe family which I love using plus it has blush instead of useless lip gloss-yeah! This is definitely a buy I'm satisfied with. I also purchased that jumbo mirror Hello Kitty canister with the pink brushes inside, post coming soon. They now how another version of that large kitty all in Swavorski crystals but it's several hundred dollars, no thanks! The mirror one will do for me as the price was high enough. Another mention-the colors are much more rich and pigmented but as usual they don't show up in my crappy camera. Some product info below before posting my review.

What it is:
A tiered compact with four eyeshadows and two powder blushes.

What it does:
This Hello Kitty compact contains two tiers of high-quality Hello Kitty products. The four eyeshadows include shades ranging from soft rose to warm brown, colors that harmonize beautifully with the two powder blushes. The tiered compact comes in the shape of Hello Kitty and is adorned with the Memoirs of a Kitty cherry blossom print.

The Say Hello palette includes:

My results: This compact is so worth the money in my opinion because you get sophisticated neutral shade you can always use along with a couple of beautiful blushes with a total of 17 grams of product! I'll start with the compact first which is shaped in a huge hello kitty shaped head about 3 inches or so and it's really fat & thick! It's constructed of a durable heavy plastic with an all over cherry blossom print in delicate pinks, light brown & green accents with on a white background. There is a huge green reflective crystal like plastic bow on the top of kitty's head which is so cute!

It has two layers starting with the top portion which houses four different shadows of pinky beige, tan, honey and brown. You can use two of them as highlighters and the darker shades to create smoky eyes. The bottom compartment houses two lovely powder blushes in a peach and rose shade. I'm not a fan of peach but the rose is beautiful! Even the top cover on the bottom compartment is covered in that cherry blossom print all with a mirror included. A great vanity piece or really nice to pull out of your purse. This palette comes packed inside a  nice cherry print box. 

As for the pigments, the shadows are really rich and easy to work with. There not super silky but there not dry either. The shadows have a nice subtle sheen to them without any glitter which is always a plus because some glittery shades are nice but nothing but glitter in your collection can get tacky and it's more suited for tweens. It's a very versatile yet neutral color grouping. The blush is also nice and easy to blend and like the shadow there is just enough moisture without being too silky. It's nice that is has some natural anti-oxidants in the formula and no parabens still it's not 100% natural which I'm hoping cosmetic brands  will work on in the near future but it's at least cruelty free!

This gets a full 5 starfish rating from me for the formula, packaging, over all value, cruelty free and cute factor! I'm not pleased no refills are offered but the total weight of product is 17 grams which is a lot for the price so it's a reasonable splurge. I think it has way more value than the Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette which has no no shades in it other than Woodstock and I already own the single token plus a useless lip gloss for about the same price as Hello Kitty yet this is better! And that's saying  lot for me because I'm a UD junkie! I guess I'm getting wiser as to how I spend on cosmetics but fear not there are a few Urban decay things still waiting to be reviewed by me such as the 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil. hey, if they ever put the Rollergirl on sale I just might get it too I'm just not paying the retail price for it. If your looking for one really cute palette this summer grab this one and if the colors are too light for you they have other palettes in the collection except those have lip gloss instead of the blush.
