Lady Gaga Profited off of Japan Relief Wristbands

And now she is being sued for it.

HollyScoop is reporting that Gaga was selling the wristbands for $5, plus $3.99 for shipping and handling, and 60 cents for taxes and claimed all the money was going to relief efforts in Japan following the massive earthquake and tsunami. But apparently she profited a pretty penny from the charity wristbands.

Ari Kresch, an attorney with Michigan-based 1-800-LAW-FIRM, said: "I'm suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for."

The attorneys claim they have contacted Gaga's representatives, who refused to disclose how much money is being "retained" by the star from the sales.

Alyson Oliver explained: "When you use your celebrity and your power as a musician to take money from people under false pretences, that's just wrong.

Gaga Goes Bald

Well, Gaga wasn't entirely hair-free for her pre-taped "O'Grady" performance: Her piano was blanketed in synthetic hair, and from the neck down she was swathed in a dress that appeared to be fashioned out of turquoise Muppet follicles. And about halfway through her song, she reached for a matching blue pageboy wig, which was sitting atop her piano, and positioned it on her bare head.

While concerned fans feared that Gaga had pulled a Britney and shaved her scalp on a whim, a closer look at her "O'Grady" footage indicates she just wore a bald skullcap on the show. (Calls to Gaga's record label were not returned at press time.) But only her hairdresser knows for sure.

Lady Gaga drops the R-Word!!!

In a recent interview with NME Gaga calls the allegations that she ripped of Madonna's Express Yourself for her new track Born This Way, retarded.

Her exact response was: "I'm a songwriter. I've written loads of music. Why would I try to put out a song and think I'm getting one over on everybody? That's retarded."

Surely that has outraged this group. But where is the outrage? A few days after Kobe gets fined by the NBA in large part because of the outrage of the LGBT community. A community by the way that is very supportive of Lady Gaga. Where is the LGBT community on this? They should call for her to clear the air on this maybe make a stupid video like Kobe had to do.

I am hoping that the reaction is just delayed. I personally think that both of them should be able to say what they want. But if you are going to jump all over Kobe for insensitive remarks be consistent and hold Gaga accountable.
